Our client, a well-established long-term care organization in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager / Clinical Educator to lead, coach, and elevate the standards of resident care across their home.

This is a unique opportunity for an RN who’s passionate about both leadership and learning — someone who can balance clinical oversight with education, mentoring, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring excellence in resident-centered care.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs to support professional growth and clinical competency.

  • Lead orientation, in-service training, and skill development initiatives for nursing and care teams.

  • Support quality improvement projects, audits, and compliance with all provincial LTC standards.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify learning needs and implement evidence-based practices.

  • Maintain up-to-date clinical expertise and serve as a resource for best practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or educator experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver staff education and training programs.

  • Strong understanding of infection prevention, quality systems, and LTC legislation.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.

  • Passion for inspiring teams and advancing clinical excellence.
